I’m Changing The Way I Bullet Journal
You may have noticed that I didn’t post my usual bullet journal blogs at the end of August. Despite having many amazing things happen in August, I didn’t quite feel the motivation to journal like usual. If I’m honest, I think I lost my love for it for a little while.
But that’s okay. Like most things, creativity comes in peaks and bows. If someone were to come to me and say they were a consistent fountain of invention, then I would want whatever they’re drinking!
But I’ve been so vocal about the benefits of journaling. It’s a great way to keep track of your success and process your thoughts and feelings. In my opinion, it’s one of the best forms of therapy, and it’s free!

But yeah, I started getting into bullet journaling just a few weeks before lockdown began. Naturally, my spread mimicked my journey of self-growth, but I think times have changed drastically since that point in my life. Lockdown is lifting, and I’m moving to a big city and starting a new job. My journaling style should mimic that.
Luckily, my bullet journal was on it’s last few pages, so I felt like it was time to reimagine my way of journaling and try focus on some new goals in life. I am mainly staying organised, keeping the hustle going and ticking things off my bucket list! Hopefully, my new spreads reflect just that, I’ve also added a few inspirational posts from my favourite bullet journal accounts. As always, click their handles to be taken straight to their page.
My New Journal
One of the bigs things I’m focusing on this time round is my memory making. So instead of creating spreads to scrupulously plan out my week, budget and eating habits- I’m going to start creating spreads for my days out or big blog posts! So I’m pretty much going to be turning my journal into a scrapbook.
The two entries above are definitely going to be a work in progress and something you can expect to see more of in my next bullet journal blog. As I fly the nest and move in with my friend in London, I plan to get into my cooking a but more. So expect some new blogs on budget cooking!
I’m still taking time to reflect and work on myself- but this time I wanted to explore my style a little more and get a bit creative with it. I have intentionally made my writing very difficult to read, so please don’t try. :)
Another memory spread from earlier in the month! Which do you prefer?
An older spread from before my move to London was made official. I wanted to go on a weekend away in Edinburgh, so I planned costs, train prices etc.
I thought I’d show a few spreads on how I’m organising myself for the big move! Here’s the start of my recipe page and my completed packing list.
