Christmas Hot Chocolate Recipes

It’s nearly Christmas! I know I’m not the only one who’s been waiting all year for this moment. The sun has finally disappeared and the crisp, dark evenings are finally here. Pumpkin spice lattes have been and gone but still there’s loads more festive drink fun.

I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned it on here before but I can not stand summer. I’m a winter baby through and through. So now I’m finally in my element I’ve taken a great pride in curating loads of fun things to do and write about. Although this isn’t my first Christmas as a graduate, it’s my first graduate Christmas away from home, my first adult Christmas. I intend to cover the house in cheap tinsel and fairy lights. If I go missing for a few days then I’m probably binging Christmas films in my room.

After the year we’ve had. I think we deserve to feel a little festive!

So to get us in the mood of Christmas carols and late film binges, I wanted to talk about my favourite festive drink. Hot chocolate! If you followed me over lockdown then you’ll have seen me go a little crazy with the cocktail and coffee making. I think it’s one of the few hobbies I took with me after lockdown ended and I’ve continued to adapt. I find myself creating secret recipe boards on Pinterest and even experimenting with my own recipes. Now Christmas is just around the corner I thought it would be time to expand my drink making skills to hot chocolates! Here are some tasty hot chocolate recipes I’ll be snuggling up with in December!
