One Month In London
I’ll be honest. I’m quite excited to sit down and write this blog. It feels like I’ve been in London a lifetime, but in actual fact it’s been just over a month. If you follow my blog then you’ll know that I’ve been struggling to keep up with posts both on here and on my Instagram. But that’s okay, sometimes we need a little break away from the phone screens and the chance to enjoy life around us. I haven’t neglected this blog in favour of sitting in bed all day, I’ve been out exploring the capital and having a bloody good time doing it.
But as we move into the Autumn seasons, I’m excited to sit down and return to the blog again. The idea of sitting in a small London coffee shop and blogging about my life feels irresistible. But for now I’m curled up on the sofa with a biscuit tea, buzzing at the chance to reflect on the past month before I go get ready for Sunday dinner.
Especially in a new city, I think it’s important to look for opportunities to “live like a tourist” wherever possible. I get bored of place easily, I’ve lived in Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Chester, and even had a brief stint in Wales. In each place I knew every hidden gem, crook, and cranny that made the place great. But that made it boring. I wanna discover new places daily, otherwise I lose interest. I think London is one of the best places in the UK to do that, purely because it feels like when you visit somewhere else it feels like a whole new city altogether. This place is endless.
In the meantime, if you don’t hear from me as frequently as you did before. I’m making memories and taking time away from the screen. I’ll always be back with a bang in some cases you just need a break!

Even after visiting all these places and making memories I’ll cherish. I’ve barely made a dent in this big city. There’s so much more to see, so much more to do, and I don’t think I’ll ever be bored. Soon, I’ll write up my bucket list of recommendations.
