4 Ways To Increase Visibility

Let’s be honest, visibility is key to a successful freelance marketing business. If people don’t know who you are how are they supposed to find and access your services? In such a competitive landscape, it’s crucial that you establish a strong online presence and boost your visibility as much as possible. if you put the time in to develop a strategy, you can enhance your chance of being discovered by potential clients and truly stand out in the crowd.

In this blog, I’m going to be sharing my current formula for increasing visibility as a freelance marketer. It worth noting that whilst I have written this with marketers in mind, these four methods of boosting visibility are applicable for any business looking to boost their online presence. Build a professional website

If you haven’t already, you need to build a professional website to send your visitors too. A well designed and user friendly website serves as a storefront and portfolio for all your marketing services. Optimise it for search engines by using relevant keywords to your content and meta tags. But most importantly, don’t forget to include a clear CTA (Call To Action) to encourage potential clients to reach out.

Leverage social media marketing

What better way to prove you know your stuff than to launch a social media presence? Identify the platforms that align with your target audience and create engaging profiles. Share valuable content related to marketing trends, industry insights, and case studies to establish yourself as an expert. Engage with your audience by responding to comments, joining relevant groups or communities, and participating in industry-related discussions. Additionally, consider running targeted ads on platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, or Instagram to reach a wider audience.

It’s important that your content on social or your website be engaging, compelling, and encourage the reader to reach out or read more. Look at it from your perspective, you’re not going to follow an account that doesn’t interest you, you’re not going to like a post that doesn’t resonate with you, so why should anybody else do the same? Take the business approach, if you’ve got an idea for content is it really worth you investing all your time in some thing that isn’t going to give you a return on investment?

Network and collaborate

This is my favourite part of social media marketing…you get to build a community. Whether thats of likeminded marketers or dream clients, build a network of people you can exchange details, services, and meaningful conversations. Actively seeking a network will dramatically help you expand your reach and remind you why you do what you do.

Offer lead magnets

I love a good lead magnet. Exchanging free resources or exclusive marketing cheat sheets for access to somoene’s email is the best way to grow your mailing list of potential clients. Develop a well-structured email marketing strategy to engage with your audience, share relevant updates, and convert leads into paying clients.

Increasing visibility as a freelance marketer is essential if you’re hoping to attract new leads and ultimately grow your business. By building a professional website, leveraging social media platforms, networking creating compelling content, optimising for SEO and offering valuable lead magnets, you can grow your visibility and position yourself as an expert in your field. Remember, consistency and authenticity are key to easblishing a trustworthy brand.

Always prioritise delivering exceptional results and providing outstanding customer service. Satisfied clients are more likely to refer you to others and become repeat customers themselves. Word-of-mouth recommendations can be a powerful source of new leads, so go above and beyond to exceed your clients' expectations.

Increasing your visibility as a freelance marketer is an ongoing process that requires dedication and persistence. By implementing these strategies, you can expand your reach, attract new leads, and ultimately grow your freelance business. Remember, building visibility takes time, so be patient and consistent in your efforts. With determination and a well-executed marketing plan, you'll be well on your way to establishing yourself as a successful freelance marketer.
