Changing it up

If you read my blog regularly, you’ll know that I’ve been going through some weird moment. I’m not sure if it’s a creative slump or being flat out exhausted from life, but I just haven’t been putting the time that I should into growing my blog and making it great. Now’s the time for me to jump back in the deep and start thinking more about the content that I’m putting out.

One of my very first marketing jobs was for a small magazine in the heart of Chester, Amble shined a spotlight on independent businesses and events. As a journalism student, I found their slow-paced news cycle beautiful. It took the rushed, incoherent nature out of reporting and ensured every step was beautifully articulated and 100% correct. This mentality should be the foundation to every great piece of work.

From this week on, I’ll be doing 1 post a week instead of three, then I can take a deep dive into the topics I want to cover. I want to go into topics full-throttle, not a rushed 600 words in the hopes of making a deadline.
